📍 Your DFW City — Travel Fee
Our primary hub is in Garland at 2913 Big Oaks Drive. Cities close to Garland — Richardson, Rowlett, Sachse — carry the lowest travel fee ($75–$85). Cities farther out — Arlington, Denton, Waxahachie — carry higher fees ($120–$145). The travel fee is a flat addition regardless of how far within your city we travel. 🏪 Academy Sports Pickup
Liberty Colonial and Centurion safes are sold at every DFW Academy Sports. If your safe is still at the store, our Academy pickup add-on is $50–$75 depending on which location. This covers our crew coordinating with Academy's loading staff and loading the safe onto our truck. Academy delivers to the parking lot only — we bring it inside. 🔩 Bolting & Unbolting
If your Liberty Safe is currently bolted to a concrete floor, unbolting adds $75–$150 to your cost. If you want it re-bolted at the new location — which we strongly recommend for any safe over 500 lbs — re-bolting adds $100–$200. This is the single most impactful add-on for security: a properly bolted Liberty Colonial is vastly harder to remove than an unanchored one.
🚪 Doorway Clearance
Liberty Colonial and Franklin series are typically 24–30 inches wide — they fit most DFW doorframes. Liberty Fat Boy series at 42 inches wide is the exception — Fat Boy safes require a minimum 44-inch clear doorway. If your doorway is too narrow, we temporarily remove the door and frame (+$75). East Dallas historic homes with original 30-inch doorways sometimes require additional time with Colonial and Franklin models too. Always measure before we arrive.

They're the most popular safes at Academy precisely because they're the right size for most DFW homes: enough capacity for a typical collection, heavy enough to deter theft, light enough to fit through standard doorways.
Here's what Academy does: they sell you the safe and load it onto your vehicle in the parking lot. That's it. They don't deliver to your address, they don't carry it inside, and they don't position it in your closet or garage. That's where we come in.
