Getting a 500–700 lb safe from the parking lot into your home requires professional movers with hydraulic equipment and floor protection. Academy Garland at 4920 North Garland Avenue is the closest to all three. Sachse is ~5 miles east via SH-78. Wylie is ~9 miles east. Murphy is ~7 miles southeast via SH-78 and PGBT. Academy Garland explicitly lists Sachse, Wylie, and Murphy as communities it serves. Our pickup add-on for Academy Garland is $50–$60 — the lowest in our DFW network. The Move Calculator tab calculates your base moving rate (from your safe's weight) plus your city's travel fee, plus distance overage beyond 15 miles, plus the Academy pickup add-on if you select "Yes — picking up from Academy Sports." The Add-On Calculator tab lets you check any additional services (bolting, same-day, unbolting) and see the running total. The Academy Finder tab shows your nearest store and auto-fills the correct travel zone into the calculator when you click "Use in Calculator."

Academy.com offers some safes with freight delivery, but it's still curbside only — the carrier brings it to your driveway, not inside your home. We handle both: store pickup from any DFW Academy, and curb-to-room for Academy.com freight deliveries. The freight coordination add-on is $75 (vs. $50–$75 for in-store pickup). Yes — tell the sales associate at purchase that a moving company will pick up the safe. This ensures the store's loading team knows to expect our crew and can coordinate timing. Ask for a note on your receipt. When you call us, give us the store location, your receipt number or safe model, and your home address. We handle all coordination with Academy's loading staff on pickup day.

Yes. We pick up from all major DFW sporting goods retailers: Bass Pro Garland, Bass Pro Grapevine, Cabela's Allen, and any Tractor Supply location. Bass Pro and Cabela's carry Browning's premium lines and some Liberty models not available at Academy. The pickup add-on for Bass Pro/Cabela's is $60–$85 due to warehouse-style loading logistics.
