The two-week Plano move-out timeline
- Two weeks out — book the date. Month-end and the first weekend of the month are the two windows every Plano lease turns over on, so they go first.
- Ten days out — ask the leasing office at both ends for their COI requirements sheet and their elevator/dock policy, and send them to us.
- Seven days out — COI issued to both property managers. Freight elevator and loading-dock windows reserved at origin and destination.
- Three days out — confirm the gate code, the reserved parking for the truck, and whether the dock has a height restriction. Plano garages are the usual culprit.
