Carrollton is unique in all of DFW: it's the only suburb with three separate DART Green Line light rail stations — Downtown Carrollton Station, Trinity Mills Station, and North Carrollton/Frankford Station. The apartments near Downtown Carrollton Station are nothing like the apartments near North Carrollton/Frankford — and neither are the moves.

The northernmost Carrollton DART station — North Carrollton/Frankford Station — serves the city's most active current apartment development corridor. The Frankford Road area has seen the most new construction of any Carrollton zone in the last five years, with transit-oriented luxury communities built specifically to serve rail commuters who want suburban apartment sizes at near-downtown rail access. This is where Carrollton's newest builds are — vaulted ceilings, smart home tech, resort-style amenities — and also where the Indian Creek golf course community and Old Denton Road northern apartments sit. Move tip: Castle Hills communities have great access — wide driveways, good loading zones, no rail traffic concerns. August is busy due to school-year transitions.
